Yoga Teachers Association of the Hudson Valley is thrilled to host “Transform, Relax, and Rejuvenate: A Brief Retreat with Lasting Results” with Kripalu’s Vandita Kate Marchesiello, which will take place on Saturday, April 14, at Club Fit in Briarcliff Manor, NY.
In this retreat suitable for all students and teachers, participants will experience asana, pranayama, and yoga nidra from their deepest place of intuition and knowing, where they are empowered to listen intimately to their innate wisdom. Vandita will lead participants through a gentle yet profound practice with a flow that is meditative, healing, and individualized and will touch upon the magical and mystical side of yoga practice. Time for discussion and Q&A will be included.
Vandita Kate Marchesiello is a yoga teacher and trainer with 40 years experience. Past executive director of the Albany Kripalu Yoga Center, a Kripalu board of trustees member, and director of the Kripalu Yoga Teachers Association, Vandita is currently on the faculty of the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health. The workshop will be held at the Yoga Studio at Club Fit, 584 North State Road, Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510, on Saturday, April 14, from 1:15 p.m.–4:15 p.m. (Note different timing from usual.) The cost is $45 for YTA members and $65 for nonmembers who register in advance; $55 and $75 at the door. Preregistration is requested at ytayoga.com. Ample parking is available.
