If there is a book in you, a memoir, a fictional recounting of a time in your life or an historical tome, there is no greater time to preserve your written words in a class with other students who are exploring an idea, a work in progress, or a chapter in their life. Bring your ideas, pen and paper or laptop so that within a few short weeks you will have developed the strategies to become a lifelong writer. People of all skill levels are welcome. Space is limited to 12, so register early! Register online at www.somerslibrary.org or call 914-232-5717.
Linda is an author and former journalist for The New York Times, where she reported on evolving health and human interest. Before her debut as a novelist with the critically acclaimed I Know You by Heart, she served as manager of corporate communications at Novartis. Currently, she writes books with doctors who want to inform the public about developing advances in their fields of medicine. She recently completed a book with Sabrina Shue, MD, a well respected pain management specialist, entitled When It Hurts: The Secrets and Mysteries of Pain Management Revealed. It will be published in early 2020. Her latest novel of suspense and murder, The Iceman Checks Out, received praiseworthy reviews from several newspapers and magazines.
Our programs are funded by The Friends of Somers Library. Thank you for your continued support!
