Understanding and Responding to Dementia-Related Behavior at the Somers Library
Thursday, October 17, 1:30 – 3:00 pm
During the middle stage of dementia, the person with the disease often starts to exhibit new behaviors that can be confusing for a caregiver. These behaviors are a form of communication, and are essential to understanding the needs of the person with dementia. This program will help attendees identify common triggers for behaviors associated with dementia and learn strategies for addressing common dementia-related behaviors. Presented by the Alzheimer’s Association Hudson Valley Chapter. Registration is required; please register on our online events calendar at www.somerslibrary.org or call the library at 232-5717.
Our programs are funded by The Friends of the Library – thanks for your support!
