Virtual: Effective Communication Strategies for Alzheimer’s Caregivers
Wednesday, March 24, 10:00—11:30 am
Individuals living with dementia often experience changes in behavior that can be confusing to friends and family. For caregivers, learning to decode messages through attitude, tone of voice, facial expressions and body language can help both parties to connect and communicate in meaningful ways. This program will help explain the communication changes that take place in a person with dementia and identify strategies to connect and communicate at each stage of the disease. Please register on our online calendar at www.somerslibrary.org in order to have access to this meeting. You will receive an invitation prior to the start of the webinar.
Presented by the Alzheimer’s Association Hudson Valley Chapter.
Our programs are funded by The Friends of the Library – thanks for your support!
